Sometimes, it's hard to figure out which anti-homeschooling stereotype you're supposed to be. I can't really call this the "isolationist tinfoil-on-the-windows" mindset, because they're outside where government ideas can get at 'em. It's not "micro-controlling every minute of their under-socialized lives to protect them from harmful ideas", because I don't really know much about their friends, other than they go to a Catholic homeschool co-op and their dad once gave us a used organ with a bench full of antique protestant hymnbooks. I guess I'll have to settle with "kids forced into gangs for protection as they forage for food while the parents sit on the front porch spitting tabaccy juice between the gaps in their teeth". If the dad-blasted social worker shows up with the sherriff again, we'll say we was a-studyin' the constitution.
