Trip report, part 1 - how we moved around

Well, we went. And we've come back, so here are some pictures. First, a smattering of the various ways we got there and back, as seen through the eyes of the younguns.
You try looking this awake and happy at 4:30am as we start the 2 hour drive to the airport. Quite an accomplishment.

The wait begins. No air travel horror stories to report. Kid #2 slept during landing on the first flight, and during takeoff on the return. Kid #1 got a big kick out of the whole process.

There was a steamboat.

There was a train.

We also did quite a bit of hoofing it around.

Taking a break in the shade.

The weary and experienced travellers, on their last bit of public transportation back to the car.

New forms of transportation encountered:
Airport shuttles and Taxis.
Moving airport walkways.
Planes.
An Amtrak train two stories tall.
A Paddlewheel boat.
Zoo tram.
Streetcar (encountered at a distance - just not enough time to do everything).
