Passing of an ugly dog
Our poor Pooshie doggie expired and went on to the Rainbow Road this week.
She was the best dog out of all of them. Bunling #1 called her "My cutie pie pity party". She might have been a fear biter, a coward, and ruthless with other dogs, but she loved it when the younguns would climb all over her and poke her eyes.
You haven't experienced pathos until you've seen a sobbing 4 year old try to tell a knock-knock joke to cheer everyone up.
She was quite hard to look at in life. Too much skin meets a cross between swaggaring bravado and something an elephant throws up. She will be sorely missed.
We rescued her from a bad home where the owners apparently tried some stupid thing with electrified floors. She had burns on her little paws.
Over the years, she eventually learned that not all non-family humans need to be feared and growled at. She warmed up to at least three different people pretty quickly.
Goodbye, DaVinci's Italian Portrait. You left us too soon. We're taking bets as to you're current circumstance. You're either chasing our old cat around, or she's chasing you around.

Ah yes - she was the sweetest doggie two little girls could have, but yes, she was so ugly that it took four men and a sturdy horse just to look at her.
I don't think she is ugly at all! I think she must be a canardly right! You canardly tell what kind of dog she is..but she is lovely. We had to put our dog down just yesterday, so it feels a little lonely without my shaddow following me around.
