Support for War in Iraq

Moving this over from the other blog, on accounta it's reel important for folks to know as the folks on the left have upgraded their attacks. This is from my buddy Q:

My two cents, chiming in only this once:
1. The CIA director assured the Whitehouse that there were WMDs in Iraq

2. Intelligence services in France, Germany, Russia, Israel, and China all reached the same conclusion about Iraq's WMD programs

3. Russia advised the Whitehouse that Hussein was in fact planning attacks against America and our allies

4. British intelligence advised the Whitehouse that Iraq was SEEKING to buy uranium in Africa (yes, the CIA said they could not confirm this, but the CIA was not the source of the information in the first place and the Brits have not backed down from their finding; and yes, a politically motivated opportunist went to Niger, bandied about, sipped champagne, and got self-serving answers from the suspects involved, and then loudly brandished his findings that Iraq had not actually purchased uranium in Niger, which was never the assertion in the first place)

5. Numerous known terrorists, including ones linked to Al-Qaida, and Abu Nudal, the most infamous and most wanted terrorist in the world, were being granted safe haven and support by the Iraqi government

6. The policy of the Clinton Whitehouse was to force regime change in Iraq, a policy urged, supported, etc., in writing by the Senate Democratic leadership

7. I doubt that Al-Zarqawi fled to Iraq from Afghanistan to open a convenience store8. The Iraqi government as policy paid huge sums of money to the families of suicide bombers in Judea. Unless one views as a blessing the use of bomb-laden young men and women to splatter Jewish blood onto second story windows, this alone makes Hussein a terrorist sponsor and in need of removal.

Even given all of the above, I can understand people's resistance and opposition to the Iraq war, and certainly don't think that opposing the war in itself makes anyone seditious or less patriotic.
I would GREATLY appreciate it, however, if people who are inclined this way would at least acknowledge the above and equally respect the views of those of us who are glad the Hussein regime is gone and who believe that the prospect of a peaceful democratic Iraq in lieu of the precedent terrorist regime is a worthy objective.
